After 30 years of cooking, I was really tired of trying to figure out how much 6 grams of this was, or half a pound of that. Now all my problems are solved. This is a great little scale, emphasis on little. I was surprised by how small it is, just 8 x 6 inches and an inch and a half tall. The weighing surface is just 5 x 5 inches. 3 great features --1. Easy to clean
2. Grams or Ounces (little switch on the bottom)
3. You can zero it out. Put a 7 ounce glass bowl on it, hit the button, see 0 in the display, add the amount of ingredients you want.
At first, it seems a little expensive, but now I can't live without it.
